SEMESTER 1:

Semester Aim

This semester, the course provides a foundational grounding in biblical knowledge, Christian doctrine, and spiritual formation, equipping students with a clear understanding of the Bible as God’s revealed Word. The semester introduces learners to effective methods of studying and interpreting Scripture, explores the redemptive framework of the Old Testament and the Christ-centred message of the New Testament, and establishes essential Christian doctrines. Students are guided through key themes of salvation and the Christian life, prayer and worship, ethical living and the development of godly character. The course also helps learners discern their calling and purpose in ministry and service, culminating in an integrative review that connects biblical truth with practical faith application, ensuring a solid theological and spiritual foundation for further ministry training.

SEMESTER 2:

Semester Aim

This Semester focuses on equipping students for practical, Spirit-led and sustainable ministry. The semester deepens understanding of the Holy Spirit’s work while developing essential pastoral skills in shepherding, leadership, administration and ethical governance. Students are trained in preaching and teaching the Word, Evangelism, Missions, Church Growth, discipleship and faithful financial stewardship. Emphasis is also placed on addressing ministry challenges, managing conflict and cultivating longevity in service. The semester concludes with a ministry practicum and evaluation that integrates theological knowledge with real-life ministry application, preparing students for effective, accountable and impactful pastoral leadership.
